FM Insulation Supplies is now part of the Insulshop Group

From 1 November 2026, the Insulshop Group has acquired the assets, stock and intellectual property of FM Insulation Supplies, a trading division of Flavell Management & Industrial Services Pty Ltd.

What this means for you

• You can still order the same range of insulation products.

• Our technical support and customer service continue as normal.

• Karl and Todd have joined the Insulshop Group, so you will continue to deal with familiar contacts.

• Our Emu Plains facility remains open as a distribution facility.

• The wider Insulshop Group team now supports enquiries, sales and administration.

Our history

Flavell Management & Industrial Services has supplied the industrial insulation industry since 1995, with products from suppliers in the USA, the UK, Poland, South Korea, Malaysia and Australia.

We have traded as FM Insulation Supplies since 2001, when we acquired the NSW merchandising operations of Cape Modern JV. While most of our customers are in New South Wales, we also supply customers in Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia, as well as Fiji and Hong Kong.

A message from Mike Flavell

After a 52-year career in the Australian insulation industry, including 20 years as a contractor and more than 32 years as a supplier, Mike Flavell is retiring.
