Rockwool is a general purpose thermal & acoustic insulation suitable for application to piping and equipment. It is available as slab, blanket, wired mat, pre-formed pipe section and loose fibre.
Suitable for equipment operating up to 750°C.
Foil faced, chemically cross linked Polyethylene sheet & pipe insulation is an easily applied material.
It is commonly used in the air conditioning industry on hot and chilled water systems and as a duct liner. Unfaced PE sheet is used extensively to insulate cushion head boxes.
Suitable for equipment operating up to 97°C (intermittently up to 120°C).

Perlite is similar in appearance to Calcium Silicate. It has the advantage of incorporating rust inhibitors within the insulation, thereby minimising “corrosion under insulation” suitable for equipment operating up to 650°C.
Calcium Silicate is used in applications where a more rigid and damage resistant material is required. It is available as slabs and pipe sections.
Pipe sections are suitable for applications up to 650°C, while slab is suitable for use up to 1,000°C.
Ceramic Fibre is suitable for application to plant & piping operating at high temperatures. It is commonly available in blanket form. Other forms are boards, paper, rope, and tape.
Suitable for equipment operating up to 1260°C.
Cal-sil-mag Fibre is suitable for application to plant & piping, operating at high temperatures. It is commonly available in blanket form. Other forms are boards, paper, rope and tape.
Suitable for equipment operating up to 1000°C.
